Louis Allott is a translational radiochemist with 15 years' experience across academia, industry and the NHS. His work spans the full radiopharmaceutical development pathway, from the design and radiolabelling of novel tracers through automated synthesis development to GMP manufacture and first-in-human clinical translation.

Louis held research positions at the Institute of Cancer Research and Imperial College London, where as Chemistry Lead he developed new radiopharmaceutical technology. As Lecturer and Head of Radiochemistry at the University of Hull - Hull York Medical School (HYMS) he led radiochemistry across the Positron Emission Tomography Research Centre and Molecular Imaging Research Centre, developing GMP radiotracer production and a research group focused on next-generation radiopharmaceuticals and theranostics. He has published 48 articles, secured £289k in research funding as principal investigator with a further £1.8m as co-investigator, and holds honorary appointments at King's College London and Hull University Teaching Hospitals NHS Trust.

Louis founded Radiopharmium in 2024 and works with clients including Daisy Medical Research Limited and Aptamer Group, where he serves as fractional Director of Radioligand Development and Scientific Advisory Board member. He brings expertise in FASTlab automation, radiopharmaceutical pipeline development and the strategic leadership of GMP manufacturing facilities.

Chris Barnes is a translational radiochemist with over 25 years' experience across industry and academia. He has worked across the full research and development pathway, from early radiolabelling chemistry, automated radiosynthesis design and optimisation through to GMP manufacture, quality control, and the technology transfer and validation of clinical tracer manufacturing processes at third-party sites worldwide.

Chris spent 15 years at GE Healthcare, where he was a key member of the radiochemistry team that took ¹⁸F-flutemetamol (Vizamyl™) from early process development through to US and European launch, and later acted as lead radiochemist for the set-up, training and technical support of external global PET manufacturing trial sites. At Imperial College London he supported the preclinical evaluation of over 50 novel oncology tracers and led the automated radiosynthesis and clinical translation of [¹⁸F]fluoropivalic acid ([¹⁸F]FPIA).

Chris joins Radiopharmium in 2026 as Radiochemistry Consultant, bringing extensive hands-on expertise in FASTlab™ automation, radio-HPLC method development and GMP-compliant manufacture to support clients developing and translating next-generation radiopharmaceutical technologies.
